Papa Hawaii’s Big Island Training Program

Learning is never this much fun. How often is your classroom the largest, most diverse and exciting of the Hawaiian Islands? And how often will the knowledge you gain from a seminar make you the go-to agent for Hawaii vacations swirling with resorts, golf and superb dining, as well as natural and cultural adventures on land, in the sea and in the air?

Welcome to the Hawaii Island Papa Hawaii’s Big Island Training Program. Its aim is simple: build the Big Island’s core of top travel agents and wholesale reservations agents certified in selling and promoting the Big Island.

This program, custom-designed for our wholesale partners, normally lasts seven days. It’s an intensive fam trip, combining classroom sales training with rich first-hand exposure to the island’s “best of” highlights and new experiences. Everyone who completes the program receives an Island Destination Specialist Certificate.

Afterwards, when clients ask you why they should go to the Big Island, you’ll have a list of specific reasons, destinations, adventures, that will go far beyond mere sun, sand and surf.

You’ll learn that Hawaii Island is a land of incredible diversity – its varied climates and landscapes; its history and culture; its endless opportunities for relaxation and adventure, ranging from plush resorts to rugged lava fields, from black sand beaches (or white or green) to a snow-capped volcano. You’ll taste the Kona coffee that’s prized around the world and smell succulent tropical flowers. You’ll see prehistoric petroglyphs and futuristic observatories that make the Big Island a Mecca for astronomers. Then you’ll go home and share it all with your clients.
